GW has released some new datasheets for apocalypse.
They can be found here.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, the new sheets are under all the space marine sheets and above the tau.
There are datasheets for:
A deep striking Captain Shrike and the Ravenguard
A unified strike force of Crimson Fists and Eldar
An anti-chaos terminator force led by Lysander

Meh. I 'd rather have a titan
I must say though that minimum requirements to get these formations aren't very high especially Shrike e.g. A squad each of Tactical and Assault marines plus a captain. For that price you get 3 strategic assets including the always mirth inducing 'Jammers'. Not a bad deal.
It is nice to see the trying to bring a little fluff into the equation too.

Note that Shrike and Co HAVE to deepstrike and the jump infantry has NO way of avoiding mishaps. Oh, and they may have to deepstrike into a contested area.
Yeah, awesome.

I would hate to be you if the "Summer of Flyers" rumour panned out and plastic THawks started making their way onto the table.

Why not, its essentially just a big hollow box. If they can make the BBlade and the Stompa then a THawk isnt beyond them.

Plus, with the recent success of the Dark Eldar they must be feeling pretty confident about selling new toys. (DE outsold Wolves and Blood Angels on release day).

It is about twice the size of a Stompa or a Bane Blade not going to happen if it does it will be a limited thing like space hulk... not saying I would not get one or iI would not like to see one come out just saying it is not going to happen..

Oh, I dunno. The Valkyrie is 12 inches by 10 and thats a standard kit. The THawk is 19 by 17. Its a lot bigger than a Valk or a BBlade, but I think it is definitely possible.

Also, this is from Jes Goodwin (alledgedly)
He also said that now that rapid prototyping and CAD technology has progressed the design team can use 2 ups instead of 3 ups which means that making larger apocolypse style kits (Stompa and Baneblade) in plastic is now more possible.

This means that they are currently working on one of these types of kits as the sales for the Stompa etc were very good, but wouldn't say whether they had decided on what this would be, although I got the impression he wanted it to be Eldar.
And we all know how much GW loves giving stuff to marines. Never say never my friend. It could happen.
