Would you play against this Khorne Daemon List?

I am trying to think of 500 pts Khorne daemon lists..
Just wondering if this list is too cheesy, give me your opinions.

I would play against it mate.

I don't think it's cheesy. Sure the BloodThirster is bit "overkill" in a small game, but he does take up half your total points. I think that it is pretty fluffy ( a Greater Daemon and his bodyguard/court of lesser daemoms) but it will suffer because of the low model count. And anyone you face will try to sit back and shoot you while spending running away.

You might want to put some more troops in there. At 500 points, the Force Organisation Chart is sometimes changed, but you'll still need things for taking and holding objectives.

Nevermind the objectives, if there is total bloodshed there is victory!

nah, but seriously, I I guess I will have to consider taking more troops, remove either the bloodthirster or downgrade my upgrades.

You should also consider changing the instrument to an icon. The instrument wont do you much good overall, but being able to deepstrike units where you need them is definitely a big help.

Sounds very reasonable, I will do that.
I guess the controvery about this list was putting a 250 point bloodthirster in a 500 point list. What do you say about that? Maybe I should go for cheaper heralds instead and put them on juggernaughts or something.

Bloodthirsters are scary, but as Spevna says, you're going to suffer from a low model count more than anything else.
When the BT appears, EVERY gun in the opposing army is going to shoot it. T6 is nice, but its not invulnerable and with only 4 wounds the BT may not be around for long.
To be honest I think you need either the prince or the BT, but not both at this points level.

agreed. at 500 pts you still need 2 units of troops, so something in your list has to change to accomodate that.

Have a think about what your opponent can get for 500 pts. Off the top of my head, eldar would be getting 6 or 7 dire avengers (with exarch), 2 war walkers, 3 jetbikes, a farseer (not too bling) and a wave serpent. The war walkers alone will kill your army dead before it gets near them, and the wave serpent and bikes can outmanouevre anything in your list. Daemons can deep strike, sure, but eldar (and other armies) can run away just as fast as you can chase them, if not faster. You need something to close the noose on the opposition. Now, if you swapped out the BT for one of those thrice accursed daemon engines with the honking great battle cannon, then you'd be laying the hurt down...

Well, at least one of my heavy hitters will have wings so they can move 12".
But except for that speed will be a problem when facing a mobile army.
Everyone seems to be in favor of soulgrinders the only problem now is that I wont be buying any in the near future because they are big, expensive and only useable in 40k.

If I won't be able to win without them however maybe someday I will get one.. But it is not a priority right now.

I would try to squeeze in as many Bloodletters as you can. At 500 pts most people won't be fielding big HQs. Get the cheapest HQ you can and fill up on the BLers.
