I looking for some jump packs and storm shields for some conversions.

I don't have any spare for you, since I have a very similar use case all too often, but I can let you know where I get mine.

Primarch generously helped me out with my first jump pack, but I discovered afterwards that unlike pretty much every other bit you might want, GW actually sells the things, no muss, no fuss:

So I just order them through Plamojuku now.

Shields are harder, and even kits that have them never seem to have enough. Recently I gave up scraping up the official ones and put in an order from Kromlech to get enough to kit out my next round of Wolves. I got the viking ones but they have a few varieties:

That being said I hear someone got a 3D printer recently? You might be able to source resin kit locally!

How long did it take to get the bits from Kromlech?

A few weeks.

I think the Vanguard Veterans kit comes with Jump Packs and Storm Shields, plus loads of other useful weapons.

This is true and has the advantage of having a bit of bling modelled onto the jump packs so they're a good source for characters.
