Downsizing / Finding Models a New Home

My storage space is starting to seriously overflow, so I think it may be time to downsize a bit, look at models I haven't gotten out of the case in a while, and find some of my stuff a new home that will actually get more use out of them than I do. 40K stuff, through a combination of wanting to focus on Kill Team for storage reasons and actually having enough smallmarine stuff to play 40K through my ASC set, which I'll be keeping.

First is my Primaris Marines:
Gravis Captain
2 Lieutenants
1 (kitbashed) Apothecary
1 Ancient
10 Intercessors
6 Reivers
3 Aggressors
10 Hellblasters
1 Redemptor Dreadnought

And then my AdMech:
1 Dominus
1 Enginseer (the non-pinup version of the female techpriest from that Russian company)
30 Skitarii
5 Infiltrators
1 Dunecrawler
2 Armiger Warglaives
2 Armiger Helverins
(the vehicles I'll be particularly sad to say good-bye to as they're among my favorite things I've painted, but oh well)

Either would be a solid core for a new army! All fully painted, although if you don't like my square clear acrylic bases you'll have to rebase 'em. I'd rather not part them out. I think 20,000 yen for either of those sounds about right, although in the interest of shifting them I'm open to negotiation.

What a deal! I wish I was not in a similar situation storage-space wise. Ad-mech would be so fun.

Can we see photos? I'd like the marines...two months ago before I started painting mine...but AdMech miiiiiight be justifiable if I like the scheme :)

Oops, I forget that not everyone on the board has been here for my incessant WIP progress reports, heh.

The AdMech are in Gryphonne IV grey, with vehicles in a weathered dazzle scheme:

And the Marines are Scythes of the Emprah, with a slightly-modified scheme to match my unit-marking sensibilities:

Well I love the colour scheme but I hate the bases 🤔🤔🤔

The marines are great too but a tough sell for me because they're not the units I'd want to represent souping a second (shooting) chapter with mine, assuming I ever even play a game that big. Very pretty though 🤔

Yeah, the basing I admit is very idiosyncratic - almost everyone would want to redo the whole shebang.

Home: Found! (And the proceeds miiight have gone towards an entirely unnecessary - but very fun to paint - second titan battlegroup for Titanicus...)

More housecleaning!

Last NagoyaHammer, I got the (original set) Kill Team terrain at fire sale prices from jus, and while I've assembled them I haven't painted anything, have a bunch of other terrain, and have my eye on some of the MDF stuff from TTCombat at any rate. So, if anyone wants that full set of terrain (although I'll keep the board) for fire-sale prices let me know. I paid 5000 yen for it, so, 4000 yen? A deal at twice the price!

That is a ridiculously good deal and I will take it, but I'll wait a bit to let anyone else do so - because I'll probably just take it out to my buddy's game room where it will be the third set of Kill Team terrain.

I just wish we had some club storage somewhere, it's brilliant terrain but would be a real pita to lug to Higashi Betsuin or wherever each month.

Yeah, my pipe dream is to have enough people with enough disposable income to permanently rent a storefront or an old factory space or something, but realistically I'm sure that the rent even for a closet-sized space like plamojuku would be prohibitive. hashtag Japan gaming!
