Dec 2011 releases

Post by Primarch » Sat Nov 12, 2011 3:32 am

Lots of new models coming out for Malifaux in December.
The alternative sculpts and avatars for Ramos and Rasputina are due for release as well as the Guild Exorcist, Ten Thunders Brothers, McTavish (he has a pet alligator) and A man called Sue for the outcasts, avatars for Kirai and Zoriada and finally Rafkin the Embalmer for the Ressurectionists.

Hmm...those new 'Tina models look good. :D

Wow, a gun-slinging guitar player. First thing that comes to mind is Dusty Bottoms from the 3 Amigos :D

Looks cool though.

The magic-guitar gunslinger looks cool.

The avatar of Rasputina looks pretty retarded though.

Yes, the character is indeed based on that song. His powers/rules include Man in Black, Hurt, Circle of Flames and Tread the Line. I guess one of the guys at Wyrd really likes Johnny Cash. :D

This model (Sue) is an example of what's irking me right now about Malifaux.

I feel like the entire range is slowly becoming some dude's "oh it'd be so cool if there was a game with THIS in it! lol". Where I think it'd be cool if everyone once in a while there was a "joke" or special edition model, it seems like the entire catalogue is full of inside jokes or weird that don't mesh either rules or style-wise . That, and the paper-rock-scissors of certain masters make it hard to take the game seriously. I know you're not supposed to take the game "seriously," but there you go.
