Hello to all you Neverborn, Arcanists and Ressurectionists out there. As a leading representative of the guild I would like to throw down the gauntlet.

The Malifaux rulebook has rules for loads of cool terrain pieces on pages 98 - 103, some have special rules and some are just suggestions. I would like everyone who plays the game to select a terrain piece (not a set of woods because we have loads of those), post it up here and then get to work building it. The idea is to get enough cool stuff built so that we can have a decent game on a gorgeous table.

I intend to make:
A soulstone vein,
Some ice pillars (for my cult of december spellcaster)
A general store (like the buildings on the front of the book)
A town sign post (like the one on the front of the book)
I probably wont have them for the next game session, but hopefully they'll be ready by the end of July.

Agh. no. Thou Shalt Not Ask Dave To Make Terrain. i already have too much. I may at some point in the future chuck out some of my existing stuff, but until I do, there shall be no malifaux scenery from me. Gomen ne.

Anyhow, here is the aforementioned lady infront of the first (hopefully of many) terrain piece I'm putting together.

lookin good so far. What are you gonna texture the walls with?

I intend to cut out lots of strips of thin card and apply them as wooden planks.

thatll look real nice, altho itll also be a pain in the arse. Good luck

Well, I got my store done (though its a little small looking at it now), and a soulstone vein. I'll post up some pictures later.
Next up, a town sign and some ice pillars.
