Crusade Campaign: The Fool of Commorragh

Vect's satisfaction at securing such a prize captive soon broke against the rocks of the Farseer's infinite will. As was his way he sought to turn frustration to opportunity, and posed the question as a test to the Fool of Commorragh and her retainers.

"If she will not break, kill her" answered the Archon Oryx Nohrassar herself, miserly with her patience and generous with her ferocity.

"If she will not break, take away her choice to remain unbroken" answered her Haemonculus, Toyemiel Hirezhar, who never lost faith in the capacity of his schemes to overcome the impossible.

"She will break, given time" concluded the Succubus, Tokath Ieriel, still waiting for her tea to cool.

Vect never did break the Farseer, but was pleased to have learned the character of a far more dangerous foe.


Oryx Nohrassar's youthful impetuosity and lack of grace nearly had her killed a dozen times; while heir to any number of powerful advantages, it was only luck that kept her alive and free long enough to profit from them. She still has many enemies, her inspired charisma not fully overcoming her prodigious talent at causing offence, but with her parade of victories no longer can her survival be attributed to luck. Her star rising in the Kabal of the Black Heart, she gathers loyal followers and the allegiance of the far-sighted, and her ambition soars.

None have forgotten her litany of early missteps, and no amount of captives and riches brought back by her raids can distract from the rumours that she consorts with Inquisitor and Fallen both, overly fond of lesser cultures and disdainful of the Drukhari. Hence they call her still the "Fool of Commorragh", though one by one they are obliged to so so under their breath and on bended knee.
