That is ridiculous. GW has fallen so far. I'm starting look desperately for some silver lining in all this.

*shrug* Translating a book into and publishing it in another language costs X amount of money and is likely to bring in Y amount of money, and if you're a company in shaky economic standing you're going to have to look carefully at that ratio. And, let's face it, Warhams in general, and Fantasy specifically, is just not that big in Japan compared to other markets (much of the blame for which can be places squarely at the feet of GW, of course), so I'm not particularly shocked. It actually wouldn't surprise me particularly to see GW Japan as a based-in-Japan business entity shut down entirely within the next year or so. So it goes.
