At 4 pounds 50 a model, that puts a 20 man squad at 90 pounds.

Compare that to 30 pounds for GW or 16 from Mantic. Heresy may be best, but for rank and file troops they are expensive, especially when you consider that to meet your core requirements you need 3x 20 man squads of skeletons or ghouls. So thats Heresy=270 pounds, GW=90 pounds, Mantic= 48 pounds.

dont be daft. Its 4.50 for a pack of 3 heresy ghouls, not 1. Dat means you can get a 20 man squad for 30 quid. Same price as GW, and metal models, to boot.

the running/crawling ones are...lovely

*edit* blimey - that mindstalker gargoyle is a great model. So many possibly applications...

subedit - damn! that corpse chariot is good! Gamezone arent cheap, ill grant you, but their undead blow the socks off GW.

So it is.
Works out a bit more pricey since you cant get 10% off and free shipping though, still, nice models.

you can get free shipping I think... and even if you can't one of them is eating a baby GW will never have that kind of quality in their models..

True, but since the GW ones are multipart and plastic, none of the 20 models in the unit need look exactly the same.

Although I've never ordered from them direct, I've never heard anything bad about Reaper. They're certainly a reputable company, at any rate, although I don't know about their mail-order business.

yeah - ive had no personal experience with them, but as a miniatures company theyre proper old school. To have lasted so long they must be at least OK, and probably better than OK.

I have about a dozen or so reaper models for D and D. The model will be fine, but expect his sword to be a bit bent.
