Looks like some more stuff for Empire coming out soon.

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/E ... N-SET.html
And their rules. Basically you buy a hero and can then upgrade regular handgunners to get heavy armour. If the hero joins the unit, they get a bonus to shooting.

And the rules. It is a giant chariot with a cannon and rifles on top. And it looks frikkin cool. :D

This looks like the old wheel barrows of doom the Chaos Dwarves used to get.

Sorry, I should have pointed out that it is a work in progress.
I'm not sure what to make of it myself. It does look 'Rat' -ish, but at the same time, it looks too much like a Rat and not enough like a big gribbly beast o'doom. Hopefully when the arms get finished it will look a little more anthropomorphic.

i agree - hes a bit too ratty. Actually, i quite liked the old one, tbh. Conceptually, at least, it was pretty sound. maybe the sculpt coulda used a bit of fine tuning, but basically it was ok.

loving the new chaos dwarf stuff (and oh how happy i am to be able to say that). I especially like the man-mangler - just like before, only better :D

What happens when Thomas the Tank Engine becomes a Daemonic War Machine?
This!!
Warhammer Forge are releasing some of the new Chaos Dwarves and their new warmachine looks awesome.
You can find the rules here
The infantry also looks pretty cool with the following models being up for order:
Infernal Guard and their rules;
Infernal Guard with Fireglaives and their rules;
And the Infernal Guard Command Unit.

Cool stuff!

Part of me does miss the big hats, though.

I like the new CDs very much. The fluff about the infernal guard and their masks is nice, too. I reckon that champion looks quite rackhamy in many ways. Quite mid-nor-ish. I also note that he has sawn off horns. A common character trait in chaos dwarves, perhaps?

the big train reminds me of that thing from Labyrinth that carooms down the corridor and nearly chops whatsername into wee bits. Nice model, though.
