If I buy a starter set, does anyone want and have a use for the Skaven models? No need to pay for them.

Hi,
I might be able to use the two Rat Ogres in the set, but I have more than enough Skaven infantry having bought 3 starter sets.
I thought you were starting Wood Elves, not High Elves? Not that I mind, its always good to have another High Elf player around.

I would love a few of the little rats, maybe 5 - 10 for my unit fillers and for putting on my character bases, or under my treeman's feet

If you can spare them of course.
To repeat what Prim asked - Are you going the High Elf root?

There aren't any in the starter set, they only come with the unit boxes. Why would you want rats for your wood elves? Rats are typically urban creatures aren't they? Or are you going to sculpt little rabbit ears or squirrel tails onto them?

Good question.
Well, according to the fluff skaven have tried more than once to burrow their way into Athel Loren, the worst invasion leading to the famous battle of Creaking Yew.
So, when I mean skaven on display, I mean
dead skaven

To answer your questions, I'm not going High Elves (for now), but I might buy the box for the rulebook and other extras as well as having some figures beside my main army to practice painting on. And I don't really plan on ever having a Skaven army, so I only want to hold onto the High Elf models.

Well. I was thinking about a mordheim skaven crew so I might have a use for them.

I'd take some, for building mutants and freaks and monstrosities. I don't currently have any in my bits box. I doubt I'd ever get around to building a full Mordheim Warband of them, so I'm happy to see Ennui considering it.

Just an update: Ikeda promised my starter set would arrive by next weekend, and I plan to stop by Joshin in the afternoon, so I should have my unneeded Skaven models with me for anyone who wants.

Can I have a couple rats for decorating my bases?
