A grand final?

Hey it has been a fun year of war hammer with you guys. We played some pretty awesome games. I think there were some glories and some lumps and bruises for my Lord Balin and his doughty band. I hope you all feel there are some good memories involved.

But I think it would be fitting if we have one large final. Would some or all of you guys be interested in a big game at joshin in January?

I was thinking maybe, if people want to get crazy, we could use the storm of magic rules. Or we don't have to either. Anyway, I think it would fun but we could play normally too. Anyway, the idea is a game to cap the yearlong experience, for bragging rights, the final fate of the fantasy world and a game for the ages.

I was hoping to get the Grand Campaign finished by Dec 31st, so we could start a new campaign system at the start of the year. I had planned to do a final campaign day at Decembers Joshin event to fill up the last few hexes.

As for Storm of Magic, aside from Pikey and myself, did anyone buy the rules or any arcane fulcrums? Similarly, how many folks can muster a 3000 points or more army? If there is any interest, I would like to try SoM.

I was thinking that the event would be just a last hurrah to a splend campaign. I know you have high hopes for 40k campaign but I may need inducement from GW before I join the fun.

I will be soon able to field over 3k of dwarves and I am very interested in painting up a couple of monsters for the force. Maybe the new year will afford the. A chance to up the ante in warhammer.

I am very keen for a big game of FB we could all get together in ogaki and play at my church. During the Christmas holidays. I would of course provide food and drinks. It could be a Big one day event. That could start early and end rather late. But if the joshin event is what everyone else wants to do I will not be bothered.
