Yes, very true a dwarf can make it to T6 with some tinkering of their armor, but then again, Dwarves are made of sterner stuff.

T4 for humans is kind of silly.

Elves AFAIK are more homogenous in their appearance/phsical size/attributes than Humies.

Why wouldnt a pike in the chest kill a chaos warrior, a dwarf or anything else for that matter?

Chaos warriors are warped by chaos so the are magically harder to kill. Drarves are not human do they can be as hard to kill as the writer wants them to be.

Yes gobblins have t4 heros. But they are goblins. No way to say if the could be harder to kill.

I have to say the madmiral has a point here. As I understand it, Toughness is a measure of physical resilience. Those first 4 guys were no doubt very strong, but maybe they have crappy pain tolerances. A mother fighting to defend the life of her children, otoh, might qualify as T4 cos she'd likely crawl over broken glass to save em. That said, regardless of your mental state, a bolt round to the knee is gonna take out most anybody who isn't a space marine (or other fantastical beastie).

T4 only comes on lords and heroes. Heck, even the wizard lord has T4. Let it represent physical resilience or even resolve to continue fighting with a wound that could have put a rank and filer out of action, and Its not like you get whole regiments of T4 state troops, its just a few guys. Empire men are descendants of the mighty Sigmar et.al and so carry the blood of the Unberogen tribe and other tribes e.t.c et.c and so carry the blood of HEROES!

There. That right there. Theres your T4.
