Age of Sigmar
Re: Age of Sigmar
That sounds good. Feel free to ask around if you need help building a Crusade roster.
Here are some reference sheets/guides people have made that might come in handy.

I agree that most of the factions in AoS look pretty good. Maybe try going for something with a decent amount of magic if you're interested in that? You could also check out the faction specific endless spells since they sort of give you an idea of the sort of magic each faction likes to cast.

Re: Age of Sigmar
It's a problem. The usual advice is "pick a faction you think looks cool and go with that," but when they all look cool...
(I'm thinking of branching out into Cities of Sigmar so I can use Stormcast *and* Sylvaneth *and* elves and dwarves and puffy-sleeved humans and and and...)

Re: Age of Sigmar
I'm going to want to prioritise getting in as many Crusade games as possible for a while (I want enough RP to fit my entire Imperium collection into my Order of Battle), but AOS is fun and I note with great interest that Stormcast just got a bunch of point cuts!

So I have 1000 points (probably) uncompetitive AOS Nurgle - My paint table is table backed up right now but I was hoping October or November could be an AOS demo-ing or lethal lottery day?

I'd be up for that, definitely - I'm probably going to be moving to re-diversify my gaming a bit after the initial 40K rush.

October/November should be perfect for some AoS.

Or I may just buy that Shadow and Pain box set they just previewed.

Re: Age of Sigmar
The Daughters of Khaine are indeed pretty cool! (Really, the whole AoS range is full of goodness.)
I wasn't sure where else to share it, but I recently found a surprisingly good (and funny) breakdown of the AoS lore on YouTube:

The last 10 minutes or so gets pretty heavily into the weeds in terms of literary criticism of the particular documentary filmmaker whose style he's sending up, but overall it's a nice succinct rundown of the story so far in the Mortal Realms.

Re: Age of Sigmar
I am really hoping the November Game Day is good for some AOS action. I am putting 1000 pts together starting tomorrow.

Sounds good to me. I'll get 1000pts for November too.
