Warhammer Fantasy Campaign
Warhammer Fantasy Campaign
On Sunday the Fukui fantasy group had the second game from our narrative fantasy campaign.
This time it was Ogres and Chaos Vs Ogres and Tileans after 1 of the ogre generals changed sides before the battle.
The report is here along with part 2 and the earlier games.

Love it. What version of WFB are you using?
So many games, so little time....

Wow, very cool! And a timely reminder for the old world coming in February 2024 ( I think)

That was fun! I was a DnD player before I got into miniatures, and I love it when the game is fought with characters and narrative.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

We play with 8th edition as that has everything in Japanese as well as English.
Warhammer Fantasy works well because of all its charts and tables and crazy possibilities.
The helcannon did not once missfire, eat its crew and start chasing after the goblins, but there is always next time.

I don’t know if I’m likely to make it to Fukui, but would love to dust off the old WFB army.

Yay! I love a bit of narrative campaign, although it's been literal decades since I actually played in one. My hat is off to all involved. Wargaming the way its meant to be played!*
(*by which I mean "the way that all the players have fun". Obviously, some like narrative, some don't. That's fine. )
