As you can see. My tanks and recce are finished. The German grey being a good contrast to the darker grey that I used. Tracks and wheels are finished. I just need to finish the guy on top.

Well after a long wait, the slow paintkrieg continues. This time some halftracks.

Image

The picture makes them out better than they are. I tried a few new techniques on them, with mixed success. My Vallejo paint had separated so consistency in the metal and face paint wasn't all that good. The tires came out interesting and I plan to toy around with the color a bit more in the future.

Vallejo can be a pain in the backside at times. Still, nice looking hanomags.

Nice work, Voss. Yeah, some of the Vallejos do separate if they become watered down, but I predominately use them now.

There are my two platoons for Dec.-Jan.

And my Tirailleurs platoon.

Very nice, but they are all so tiny and small. Warlord just released the Panhard for BA, go back and do them again in 28mm! :D

What are you talking about, those models are ridiculously large and unwieldy.

We need duplicator machines with scaling right? :D Or just play across scales with our imaginations, granted 6mm would be aweful easy to conceal in 28mm terrain.

As for Panhards, they were extensively used by German units in the Eastern front as recce and anti partisan support vehicles. I think a few ended up service of other forces too. You couldn't go wrong with these guys.

Job has been waiting for this picture for ages.

Sadly they didn't survive the transit to my new place well as I discovered while doing inventory. Not pictured is a borken MG and a huge chunk of white. Also the color just didn't come out right like I thought when I was at my old place (better lighting here). Will have to work on it more before the 21st.
