Re: Nighthawks (WIP)
Beautiful pose! I presume that might have at least done some adjustments. And the paint job is very fancy. I particularly like how you worked the browns and shades on the fletching and the boots. Very, very nice.
Oh, BTW, I like your cork-holder.

Nice!
Is that a conversion or is the head made by a 3rd party company?

Both are wood elf heads, but the archer's cap was made with putty (that's about the extent of my sculpting skills) and the other hat, as well as both feather plumes, came from the Empire archer set.Primarch wrote:Nice!

I have some dark elf heads I'm going to mix in as well.
The cork blocks are ¥50 at Tokyu Hands.

Loving the feathered hats The painting is also nicely done, altho it could use a bit more contrast (within the individual colours, I mean.)
Also, I would love to get some cork blocks. Wish we had a shop like that round here

I think my lighting setup sucks — there is quite a bit more contrast than you can see in the photograph. However, that is something I'm working on.me_in_japan wrote:Loving the feathered hats The painting is also nicely done, altho it could use a bit more contrast (within the individual colours, I mean.)
