It's a question of concentration. I appreciate that air isnt exactly pure either, but resin dust is really quite nasty. As are cigarettes, btw.

I think you need to stop breathing the air.

I would say it is not worse than smoking a few cigarettes or being in a room with some chain smokers. That siad I rather do not like that either.

Breathing in resin dust may well be the same as a few cigarettes ( I have no idea, and you probably don't either ) but that just means they are both bad for you.

Most non smokers ( the sane ones anyway ) make an effort to avoid second hand smoke. As a modeller, why would you not make the effort to avoid breathing in potentially harmful resin particles that are being shot up directly into your face while you sand and cut your new FW goodies? If you are involved in the hobby for a number of years, that is potentially an arse load of resin.
