ps @ koji: word to the wise: Painting bases en masse is much less troublesome if you get some brown paper tape (or the stuff with threads through it) and cover a piece of wood with it, sticky side up. You need to kinda tuck the ends under and attach them on the bottom of the wood. I'm sure you can work it out :) Anyway, having made your sticky-sided piece of wood, stick all your bases to it. You can then spray/airbrush/ink/drybrush/whatever the whole lot en masse. Very helpful technique. You can see all where I've done it for my bases on page 1 of this thread. By the time I got to page 2 I was sticking on flowers, which was done on an individual basis, so I peeled em off at that point.

And here was me thinking that airbrushing was all glamourous and swooshy. :D

today, the mask came off...

Not completely pleased with the tape taking off wee bits of the underpaint, but hey ho - fixable. Likewise, the odd wee pockmarks in the beige are a bother, but again, not so much that I'm going to fix em.

panel lining done. Also did the base for the dragon head. Just need to do something to bring out the individual scales and the eyes. Then it'll be blue bits and gems...

nearly done, now, altho progress has been slow. Did all the blues, and tidied up the bottoms, which took a great deal of time.
