Good luck with as many models as you can get done for NagHam!
Hmm...for Pirates I think this may be more fitting, with a side of nostalgia :D

pinned, assembled and undercoated the hornets. I also made up a trial 1000 pt list, and it looks like the second squad of corsairs will not be joining us. To that I say: good - one less squad to paint before Naghammer. As it stands, i need to do this by the 2nd:

with an option for 10 corsairs, a phoenix and 5 wraithblades to follow. And a couple of venom conversions, then a squad of dino riders and thier boss. That's a ways away yet, though.

Tomorrow, I'll do the grey undercarriage on one more hornet, and then get to work on the pin washes.

So, it's been a while since Naghammer, and, of course, I didnt finish all my corsairs in time. Ach weel, hardly a surprise. Anyway, I have been soldiering on, and done a smidge of work on a Venom conversion, hopefully to be replicated on a second one later in the week, or maybe next week. I am, personally, of the opinion that more eldar (especially dark ones) should wear trenchcoats. This is a WIP, of course, with smoothing and fiddly bits like buttons to be added later. Apologies for blurriness...

and here is his funky ride (potentially I may add a few more gubbins, but for this I feel simple may be best)

and here, btw, is the captain. Apologies for the somewhat over contrasty pic. I intend to properly photograph the whole army (with background and tripod and lights etc) in the next few weeks.

Love that Captain, the shading is very subtle, the detail on the jewel..he's striking alright..very, very swish.

I guess he'll be answering your phone from now on, right? :D

I love the highlighting on the face and nice color scheme on the armor.
