Rogue Trader Nova Marines

Post by Spevna » Wed Nov 20, 2013 2:51 pm

Most of you have seen my beakies in the main thread. They pop up sporadicly and randomly. I think they deserve a thread of their own.

I have decided that every time I start a new project, or return to an existing one, I am going to start a hobby log. This is something we should all do in my opinion. ToD's Adv Space Crusade kind of inspired me to do this. It is much more organised if it is all in one place, it has continuity, and it motivates both the logger and the log viewers.

So, here is what I have so far. Enjoy :D

Here is the guy that kicked it all off;

I decided to go for a grungy/grimy look with these guys. Seeing as they are close to 25 years old, they would've seen their fair share of action.

Nothing quite delivers the Emperor's mercy like a flamer to the face!!

No tac squad worth it's power armour would ever go toe to toe with heretic or xenos scum without the means to roast them where they stand!!

When a flamer just isn't quite personal enough, it is time to call in the blunt instruments of destruction!!

Sometimes you don't need anything fancy. A trusty bolt pistol, a bit of elbow grease, and a never say die attitude will get you out of most problems. And if it doesn't, there is always orbital bombardment!!

When finesse is required over blunt force trauma, fiery death, and explosive tipped ammunition, you can always rely on a moustache to get the job done!

I got these two done today during my lunch break;

I'd been looking forward to getting the multi melta guy done for quite a while. He is carrying one of the old shoulder mounted ones, but I thought it would look much better if he was holding it like a badass!

Here is a group shot of what I've managed so far. :)

I reckon they look quite thematic as a bunch.
