Been having an organise of the loft and the minis. Found some cracking painted ones from 2008.
Doing a bit of a sale of my unpainted minis on ebay atm as well. I'm keeping Skull Pass for now as I have fond memories of painting it.

Some of those old Empire models were great sculpts, the map as a background is a nice choice too.

Batch painting these old favourites this evening. These guys took me about 2 hours of work from undercoat. :)

7 years on. Fond memories of painting these.
No Prussians were dipped in quickshade during the painting process this time.

Having sold a lot of unpainted minis on ebay, I have managed to cut down on my backlogue. This has inspired me to pick up the brush again and tackle the now relatively reasonable pile. It's been cathartic. I've managed to sell all the minis I bought when I had more money than sense and now have the same amount I had to paint before the hobby got too overwhelming. (2012/13 ish). I basically have a few Prussians and Cavaliers to paint as well as some individual character pieces. It's all been very refreshing. No more big projects waiting in the wings for my 70's. A realistic end is in sight finally.
First time since I started.

Hi everyone by the way. Hope to catch up and game with some of you next year if I get the chance. Merry Christmas and a Happy Yule Log to you. :)

Awesome! It is always great to see a batch of Napoleonics painted up. Makes me want to return to my own years long dragoons project.

Nice work, Ash-san! I've been seeing you sell off a bunch of stuff on facebook recently, and tbh it's kinda inspired me to do a bit of thinning of the herd myself. Mostly because I want to buy more minis and need the cash, but at least the pile wont be getting any bigger if I do it that way? I guess that's good? :?

Anwyay, good stuff on the reduced lead pile, and nice work on those Prussians! Hope to see you next year :)
