Finished up the Beastmen today:

Image

Nothing too much to say about them, really - I used the same color scheme as for the Traitor Guard and Rogue Psykers, so they all look like they're from the same regiment. Next I'll get to work on the ratlings, and then I'll be in the home stretch!

Rein and Raus (or possibly Raus and Rein) done:

Image

"It fell off the back of a Chimera, I swear!" Another couple of models that I wasn't excited about, but the sheer character of the sculpts won me over. I painted them up to match the squad of Cadian Guard I have for ASC, which are in WWII GI colors (field drab and khaki with any gear that'll take paint in brown violet). I forgot to prime them up last night, but the next batch of minis is the last of them - 7 more traitor guard, the Black Legion contingent, and the last two explorers. Then I can order the Ambull!

I want to see non-traitor beastmen back in the guard...

Nice work though!
So many games, so little time....

I like the hairy feet in the ratlings, it's a good touch.

This is the reason miniature gaming is better than video gaming. First class graphics right here. Well done Tod.
Nearly finished the pile of miniatures from 2013.
Painting mainly historical with some fantasy and Sci-Fi.

There's the whole traitor guard contingent done (more than enough for Kill Team too, coincidenkally). Just three Black Legionnaires, a Rogue Trader and a flamer-wielding zealot to go!

And Janus Draik, Rogue Trader (and as dashing as ten dashing men) is done as well:

Image

I went with "navy blue and white" to emulate an early-19th-century naval officer, and it seems to have turned out pretty well! I waffled on the beastie over his shoulders, but in the end decided to go with something neutral and muted so it didn't pull too much attention away from Janus himself. I'm pleased with how his skin came out as well - I tried to push my skin tone comfort zone a bit.
