OK, not shiny, as such, but still a metallic sheen. gunmetal then Badab Black (or Badab Black mixed with Asurmen Blue) would do it.

Ah now I understand! That is an awesome idea, Badruck. Those are very nice drawings too. They remind me of the simpler but more effective drawings from 2nd and 3rd Ed.

I like the Soviet scheme. How about a commsar with grot equivalent of a Medal of Hero of the Soviet Union? And a general or colonel loaded with medal on his lapels?

Thanks I plan to finishe the army this year. And ogryn are a big part of my plan to crush Orks though in nearly every fight against space marines they get rocked.

I like the lean look in the face. He looks like he's been through the gulag camps and some hard fighting in the besieged cities of the 41st millenium.

Actually the illustration itself reminds me a bit of this guy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Chagall

Of course the subject matter is worlds apart but the style seems a little reminiscent.
