Gangs of Commorragh

Look MIJ, concentrated swoosh-in-a-box!
There was a fan-made Necromunda-style skirmish game year back called...Dark City? A quick google did not turn it up. I hate elves, and even I always thought it would make a pretty cool setting.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Yknow, some years ago I would've been salivating at the prospect. Now, I look at it and think:

Pros:
An all dark-Eldar game. Wow. Cool!
Card terrain in the box. Commorrite terrain, at that. Cool.
Gang progression. Necromunda style, perhaps?
Swoosh!

Cons:
Will likely be expensive (speculation, admittedly)
Contains a bunch of DE minis that I have no use for, as I already own tons of hellions and reavers
Another game neither I nor anyone else will actually play.

On balance, wow, but hmmm.
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

They certainly are churning out these new entry level games at a fair rate.
Painted Minis in 2014: 510, in 2015: 300, in 2016 :369, in 2019: 417, in 2020: 450

Yeah, "some years ago" sums it up for me. I mean Genestealer Cults! Finally! But now, just more bits I'll maybe someday cobble some gribblies together with.
I read on the boards that there was a D.E racin' game in a WD a while back. Might as well pimp it and charge 100 bucks for it.
Next will be "Brew-House Bash"! You know it!
They do seem to have abandoned the strategy of 40K or nothing.

I watched a bit of the Warhammer TV stream about this game; it looks like quite an interesting set of rules. £35 ain't expensive, and I suspect there'll be an app along soon that'll sell you the rules if you already have a Dark Eldar force.
