So Aeronautica Imperialis is going on pre-order next weekend.
According to rumours the core box is 70 Euros or 90 USD and I'm currently considered getting it depending on how the gameplay reviews turn out.
I haven't had a chance to play the 2007 version but I'm hoping they release more races for the new version too.

Do any of you guys happen to have older aircraft lying around from 2007? Is anyone else interested in trying it out too?

EDIT: updated the price based on the post by Natfka

I do love a bit of aerial combat. Need to see the eldar minis, though, as swooshy is definitely more my thing that dakkadakka. That said, though, I'm way over subscribed for games I play for now anyway, so I may end up sitting this out. Looks very nice, though :)

They are pretty models, but (like mij) I have a lot on my hobby plate at the moment - I'll very cheerfully play, though!

Oh nice. Puts me in mind of Wings of War or Star Wars.

Given that it uses a hex board it should be a bit quicker than having to place templates like in X-wing. Even though I tend to prefer complexity and more freedom it might work better since movement templates limited movement and facing anyway. In other words, I'm probably going to pick it up as a "skirmish" game that I could play when I don't have the time or space to play full games of 40K, AoS, or AT.

I'll bring it around to a gameday sometime so I'll probably be looking for a test pilot then.

This is me saying "Underworlds!" in a spooky hypnotic voice. :D

So the AI planes are all to scale with Adeptus Titanicus right? How long until there are rules for crossing over the systems? Sure, the planes will all be flying at knee-height for the Titans, but that worked out pretty well for Luke against the AT-ATs on Hoth. :D

We just need them to come up with "WARHAMMER ARMOURED WARFARE: TANK COMBAT ON AN EPIC SCALE" which focuses on super heavy tanks and then we should be a stone's throw away from epic right?
Since its GW it obviously has to be called something like Armouris Maximus or something.
Then they can just release the infantry stands when they re-release epic. Along with some flight stand extenders which would just be 3000 yen for a set of 10 clear rods.
