I have the mainrule book. It's pretty dang good and is the cinematical marines rpg. I'd enjoy playing it myself.
It's easy to die in the swamp. What's hard is to staying dead.

I have this book but I havent played yet. I also have Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader the other books in the series.

DH is the inquisition/intrigue book (X-files)
RT is all about economics and space travel (Star Trek/Firefly)
DW is killing stuff till it dies (Aliens)

The games are well written and are based on the old Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay d100 system.

I was going to get in to Gamma world but it looks like it has kind of lost steam... if that does not pan out can we do an online version of DW?

I asked you AGES ago if you were interested in doing an online version of Dark Heresy and you didnt seem that interested.
I really dont have the time to spare to play Deathwatch online right now. Maybe in the future. Running online role playing games over Skype is pretty easy, but character creation is an outright chore and combat takes a long time to resolve.

And at the time I gave you my skype address (I wrote it down for you on the back of the army list you were using at the time. It was after a game in the Ogaki community centre) and told you what time we would be online.

An online version of Death Watch wont be happening, though I am continuing with the Dark Heresy game.

Deathwatch

Post by jus » Wed Jan 19, 2011 11:19 am

Hi, just the other day, Badruk and I were looking through the deathwatch core rules and decided that it looked quite fun. We are interested in setting aside some time to get a game up, and was wondering if there were any others who are interested in participating, but more importantly, if there is anyone who would be interested in GMing for us? We would like to do it over skype but that like everything can be discussed. Any takers?
