So long as they do it for the older 'new' books (Chaos Marines for example), then that's not too bad. If they just do it for the books from Eldar onwards and leave C:CSM as it is, I am sure there will be much nerd-rage spewed forth on the internet.
I hope that the expansions don't become a necessity for play and are purely optional, until they do, I guess I am cool with it. GW doing everything they can to empty people's wallets is nothing new. If they actually produce something people want, then ok. As I don't play Eldar this release is a month where I can save money. I am sure that when an army I do like comes out I will need megabucks to buy the codex and the seventeen supplements that come with it.
As for the new Wraith-thingie, it looks like other Wraith-thingies I guess. Not a particularly great example by any means, but not especially offensive to the eyes compared to it's Wraith-peers.
