GDs not hot at all, although one of the cheapest MC by the stat-lines.

DPs I think are one of the most cost effective units out there. Solid stats and good abilities.

Of course everything in the Chaos book seems stale and eroded. So much of the book lacks options, particularly because GW took a different course then the style the CSM book was written. (I still enjoy using the current codex against IG, SM, DA, Eldar, Orks, Tau and Tyranids, as these books seem to balance against each other in style and meta.)

Anyway, I am excited for the new CSM book, but it has also lent me to think I should halt any purchases until we get the new releases. :? The entire CSM line up hasn't received any updates for years except the DP model.

If we can try and keep this semi-on topic it would be appreciated.
Can anyone think of anything I may have missed or broken combos?
I am actually thinking that Space Marines may be the ones to break the mission. Can anyone tell me why?

To answer Prims riddle: Is it because a pair of Librarians with the teleporting psychic power are pretty cheap (and thus, would most likely go first) and can teleport out of the danger zone on the first turn. Then, they can light up the enemy HQs with lascannons and the like before they even get a turn.

Can you get 2 librarians for 1hq slot? Or if you're thinking 1 per player, can you cast powers of that nature on your teammate's models?

That certainly sounds like it to me. It has always been my experience that Marines are not dangerous until they start running away.

Nothing stopping both players from taking 1 each.

TBH I was actually thinking that marines could just deep strike some Sternguard or somthing turn 1 and wipe out the enemy HQs with combi-meltas. But Librarians who can move anywhere on the table work too.
