I had a few Grenadiers lying round, so I made this little tribute to "The Forgotten Soldier"

The other is a test squad for my forthcoming 12SS project

looking good there... Mike the Base

that name has a nice ring to it... and it speaks to one of your strengths... all of the models I see you use have great basing.. I wish I could be bothered with it..I just never could get in to making good bases what is your recipe for a good base.

@The Madmiral: I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. However, I have been known to give away state secrets for a taco or two.

For FOW/WW2 geeks out there, what is the deliberate 'mistake' in the first picture? Hint: It's supposed to be a vignette from the book 'Forgotten Soldier' by Guy Sajer, who was a grenadier in the elite 'Gross Deutschland' division.
