What do you know about Troll Bloods?

Post by Admiral-Badruck » Tue May 17, 2011 1:18 am

I want to play this game now but I do not know the first thing about it... I only know that the models for he Troll Bloods suit me the best and I am giving up on the GW games meaning I will not buy any more models from them... so I hear this is a fun game.

Trollblood joke:

"Trollbloods make excellent trackers, even though they have no nose."

"Really? How do they smell?"

"Terrible!"

*ahem*

From all I hear, Trolls are a good solid army. They're tough as nails and notoriously hard to kill (but pretty slow-moving), and they have lots of cool synergies and abilities to buff their dudes up - which they may need as their base stat-lines are often not as outright killy as some other armies'. They're pretty straightforward, maybe a bit less "tricky" than some other forces - "move up, get toe-to-toe with the foe, and count on your ability to outlast them in a head-bashing contest" is a tried-and-true Trollblood strategy.

As a Khador player, I whole heartedly approve of those tactics!

yep that is a very cool model... I love it... I would give them both pirate hats and some other small augmentations...

You can do a zombie pirate army with cryx, btw.

Warcaster: Pirate Queen Skarre (or her alternate incarnation, Skarre, Queen of the Broken Coast)

Leviathan (or two)

Cap'n Rengrave

Some zombie pirates (there are 6 models, these aint the best)

some big gunz

more ghosty pirates

black ogrun (kinda, gorilla pirates?)

and if you wanted, evil trollbloods :D

Cryx - the faction that has everything :D

(And, because you just have to mention it whenever she comes up, one of Skarrre's weapons is her Great Rack.)

(By which they mean her horns, of course. Get yer mind out of the gutter!)

Visual Coolness
Cryx>Cygnar>Menoth>Khador>Retribution.

At least in Khador we're all about functionality rather than aesthetics. :D
