35-point bundles!

Post by ennui » Tue Nov 29, 2011 9:49 am

http://privateerpress.com/35-point-holi ... -available

So there are holiday specials over at Privateer Press.

I've got my eye on the gators, but I wonder how great of a deal it really is.

What do you guys think?

I spose its up to you, really. I mean, first up decide if you like the models included in the offer, then do the math and work out if it's sufficiently cheaper than just buying em individually. I tend to find that sets of minis lock you into getting one or two things that you were a bit "meh" about but decide to get anyway cos theyre bundled in, but from time to time a good offer does come along. I think the gators are damn cool, certainly :)

If it is what you want, then go for it. Personally I dont need the Khador models as I have most of them and I have no interest in starting another faction for Warmahordes, which is wierd because I have/want multiple factions for the other games I play.

You should probably compare the prices with Maelstrom or other discount model store and see if you can get the precise models you want at a better price.

Actually, the models in the gator bundle are pretty much exactly what I was thinking about picking up. I'm too lazy to compare prices right now, but I think it has free shipping...

it does. It also gives you some free tokens (useful) and some free dice (erm, useful-ish, I suppose)

Alas, I already bought me some models :( But if I could turn back time I would:

a.) Go back and smack the guy who ran off with my Transformers hat when I was in elementary school.
b.) Go back and tell myself not to be an idiot and forget to tell my wife that my parent's house has an alarm and actually give her the alarm code - Oooooo that was a bad mistake. I'll never live that one down.
c.) Buy one of these bundles.

:D
