Roll up, roll up. Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, Children of ALL ages!!!

It gives me great pleasure to announce to all our members that the premiere event on the NagoyaHammer calender will be taking place on May 3rd and 4th 2013.

On Friday May 3rd we will be holding a Warhammer 40,000 Team Tournament, as well as several other competitions relating to the painting and modelling side of the hobby.

Saturday May 4th will be open for games of Warhammer 40,000, other games by arrangement and hopefully a couple of demonstration/participation games.

Details of all of this will be forthcoming over the next couple of weeks, along with dedicated threads for team sign ups, discussion, WIP shots of your forces and, if last year is any indication, massive amounts of trashtalking. :D

Entrance fees will be the same as previous years. 2500 yen for 1 day, 4500 for both. A 500 yen discount if you bring along a player who is not currently a part of the NagoyaHammer forum/hasn't attended NagoyaHammer before.

The venue information and accommodation info can be found here: http://www.nagoyahammer.com/forum/viewt ... ?f=3&t=689

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.

Regards,
P.

Huzzah, banzai, charge!
Count me in and hobby rage free. Thanks for running this again.
I've come to the conclusion that having a baby and quitting the hobby in an effort to be responsible is nothing short of social suicide. Big events like this are most welcome and needed in my calendar. See all you kick ass rock n rollers there. Right, next project, Ultramarine display board. :D :geek:

Thanks for organising this again this year. I guess I need to choose an army.

How would you like us to volunteer to run demo / participation games? (In this thread, PM, smoke signals?)

Whichever you deem most practical and least likely to burn down your house.

Not burning down my house is a priority, I have to admit.

I'd like to offer, then, to run a participation game of Epic. Team game (if there's enough interest for it), Imperial forces versus Orks during the battle for Armageddon. Custom scenario with cool objectives and special rules and all that jazz. Room for up to 4 players! As with my Epicstravaganza events, knowledge of the rules system isn't necessary - all you'll need to bring is a centimeter-marked tape measure, a bunch of D6's, and a good attitude.

Woot woot! I really wanted to go last year, but already had plans. Barring a dramatic change in my schedule, I'll be there. Will try to bring some friends if they can make it too (y'know, assuming that's cool).

So long as your friends play 40K, it's cool.
