NH2013 Warhammer 40K Tag Team Tournament
Re: NH2013 Warhammer 40K Tag Team Tournament
IA units usually say somewhere on the page what type of unit they are. If you have a specific question please let me know.
The allied detachment is explained in the rulebook on page 109. On 109, there is a diagram of 1 FoC which includes the allied detachment.
So you have the following in a 2000 point list.
1 Compulsory HQ
2 Compulsory Troops
1 Optional HQ
4 Optional Troops
3 Optional Heavy Support
3 Optional Elites
3 Optional Fast Attack
Optional Allied Detachment

My parents are visiting Japan for the first time in Golden Week otherwise I would be there. Hopefully next year. Sounds like fun though.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Nevermind about the Imperial armor question. Found the answer.

Eigen and I will be teaming up for the tag team 40k event. Blood angels and Imperial guard!

I've finally solidified my Golden Week plans enough that I can throw my hat in the ring.
Is there any official sign-up? Where do we pay?
Are fortifications allowed? Do we get one each?
Is there only one warlord per team? Do we determine that by leadership as usual?

You pay on the day.
Yes to both your fortification questions.
No, both players on the team get a warlord. Yes, it is determined as usual.

Sounds good. Do you get a Slay the Warlord point for each of the two warlords you slay?
Also, what is the standard for WYSIWYG? I think I can model everything I want except most of the boyz are holding sluggas instead of shootas. Should I doing mass conversions?

I'd have serious trouble telling the difference even if you used the GW official models. Meh - it's a gun. That'll do for me
Incidentally, Prim - these were asked back on page 1. What say you?

Re: Warlord Traits
AndInstead of choosing which trait type and then rolling, these players rolled a dice and then selected a trait from any of the 3 types associated with the rolled number.
So if I rolled a 4, for example, I could then look at all the three choices for '4' on the tables and then choose one that might give some benefit to my army.
Or, here's an idea - how about rolling as usual for the warlord trait at the start of the first game, and then retaining that trait throughout the day? It's the same army after all. Stands to reason that the warlord is going to have the same tricks up his sleeve, no?
Just a thought
