NH2013 - Speed Painting Contest

Post by Primarch » Mon Oct 01, 2012 11:14 am

The Speed Painting contest will take place during the lunch break on the Friday of the event. (Hopefully the hunger pangs will encourage you to paint faster).

Rules
You have 1 hour.
You must supply your own equipment, paints, brushes, water pot. These will NOT be provided. If you wish to use someone else's paints, please check with them before the event and notify me so that you can both be sat at the same table.
No Airbrushes or Sprays.
Everyone will be provided with a (near) identical model. These models will not be made public until the day of the event and will be something that, hopefully, no-one has painted before. Models will be humanoid in size and shape and roughly 28mm in scale.
All models will be assembled, have their mold lines removed and undercoated in grey ready for putting a brush too.
You can request a white or black undercoat by PMing me before the event.

The winner will be decided by a public vote.

White undercoat for me, please.

and if it please ye m'lud, actually properly removed mould lines would be nice. Not that I'm suggesting that you're a sloppy mould line remover, its just I know that my definition of "remove mould lines" does not necessarily gel with the rest of the world's definition of "remove mould lines".
