What you plan to play on day 2

Post by me_in_japan » Sat Apr 27, 2013 12:30 pm

It seems to me that a lot of folk are bringing their own pet game to Naghammer this year on day 2. We run the risk of having a hundred different games for a hundred different folk. I thought we should maybe have a thread listing who's bringing what and who's playing what and when, so we can coordinate.

MiJ: wants to play: Malifaux, 40k. Could play: Warmachine if it was that or nothin'

So, who's bringing what?

I'm still hoping to be running demo games of Epic.

I don't mind if folks want to play another game on the Saturday, but I would suggest you organise it beforehand. Just turning up with a handful of minis and expecting to find a game isn't going to work. I did say in the info for the event:

So if people want to play other things, please tell me what you are bringing, how many tables you want and who is playing. Also let me know if you want any specific terrain bringing along. E.g. Malifaux is going to look a bit strange being played out in a ruined Adeptus Mechanicus Factorum. (I'm bringing some terrain for Malifaux, M_i_J).

That's pretty much the point of this thread. I've seen a lot of other threads about games folks want to play on day 2 (bolt action, talisman, warmachine, Malifaux, epic, to name a few) and I figured it was past time we actually sat down and worked out what was logistically possible. As you say - its not gonna work if folks just turn up and expect a game.

I am bringing relic and 2000 points of 40k

There are three chairs open for the relic game.

Well, I'd like to try out Malifaux. Otherwise, I don't mind as long as I get a game of something (40K, Warmachine) - I'd be willing to try out Epic or play a game of Talisman (whatever version) - I played it twice about 10 years ago and it was pretty fun.

Given the Saturday is "Star Wars Day", I can bring X-Wing if anyone is interested, otherwise I'd give Relic a go.

I'm planning on playing in the Bolt Action game on Day 2. I'm also keen for some Malifaux and X-wing too.

I am going to be bringing Warmachine.

@ Kojibear - Are you interested in a game?

Otherwise I would also be happy to join in on a board/card game.

I was going to bring Talisman but I don't think I will now. I'd like to get in on Relic since I've heard it's very much the same and for me it'd be like playing a version of Talisman I've not seen yet. Also less to travel with. So if there is a spot open for that I'd like to get in on that.
