Unsurprising, but as long as GZ did their homework properly (and they claim to have done so) it should, as you say, be sorted out soon enough. Or maybe MB or GW (or both) will opt to drag it kicking and screaming through the courts

GW have (according to various folks on the interweb), no licensing rights or IP for the game. MB games are owned by Hasbro. So for once GW is not involved in things. Apparently, it's by Moon Design Games, who have published an RPG under the name HeroQuest since 2000 or thereabouts.

I think the kick starter got a cease and desist but this German guy has a channel for Heroquest. Relaxing and good to study the language.
