TOS just got a big update, all the stretch goals just got listed on the KS page.

While hardly likely to set the world on fire, that stretch goal map looks like one that'll be good for a healthy Kickstarter. Not too many freebies that they'll end up overcommitted and understaffed, but enough twinkly bits to be enticing. (Well it entices me, anyway.)

It looks like all factions will be getting a second commander, allowing a choice of models in smaller games or the option to play bigger games by fielding both commanders.
Later on, more squads unlock and there is a possibility of an extra squad for free if that goal is reached, plus a few more solo figures and unit upgrades as well as new, larger models being unlocked to add on. (The Cult get a Burning Rhino!?!)

Heh, yes - the Immolated Rhino did rather get my attention. Daft idea, but well executed (well, the art is, anyway. Haven't seen the mini yet but Wyrd tend to stick to their art pretty closely.) Should we make it to 450~500k or so I reckon this KS will be superlative value for money. Nowt wrong with it at the moment, just saying that once you start getting extra units for free the buy-in becomes very, very reasonable.

At this point it's a near certainty I'll get involved in this at Commander level (preferably half a double commander with someone. May as well save 10bucks each, aye?). Over and above that, I dunno. I certainly want more stuff, but one has to know one's limits, yes?

indeed. Snuggly. That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture

Right now my impulsive-collecting disorder has swung back to the positive end of the spectrum and I am torn between going all in on one faction, going for the dual commander and getting an extra unit or two for both factions, or just pledging for the Tyrant level and getting 4 starter forces. The possibility of taking units from a second faction with the special commanders is quite tempting. The problem is that there are models in every range that I like and ones that I don't.
Hmmm. Plenty of time to ponder though.

well, I'm pretty much a cert for the CotBM at Commander level, with poooooooossibly another unit of some kind on top (plus freebies, of course) so that's at least one reasonably sized opposition army for you to play against. It seems Komura and ToD are interested, too, and maybe Kbear? That's already more folk than will willingly play 40k these days, so finding an opponent shouldn't be too tricksy, it seems. Still, the best laid plans o mice an men gang aft agley, as they say. No need to rush

The $160 pledge does look really tempting at this point... I'm mostly torn between wanting to use that money to get some instant-gratification stuff early in the year or waiting for the delayed-gratification cost effectiveness of the Kickstarter. Typical kickstarter woes, I suppose.
