hum.

As per the thread, my vote goes to FF.

Not that im that fussed, really. wouldnt play a star wars game, even if the minis were nice. Would consider one or two for painting only, but I dont see the appeal of gaming in the star wars universe. its too small. Too preset. We know what happened already. thered be no purpose in re-playing em.

wow is there no creativity left in you? there are end less possibilities for this... I am not that keen on it myself but I can certainly see the potential in it...

Huge potential. Large scale battles, small skirmish, Jedi duels, dog-fights, space armadas, pod racing, droid gladiator combat....

And as for it being preset and small, dude, the 40K universe hasn't progressed since, well, ever. There is just as much possibility for scope in Star Wars as 40K.

If it is FFG, then expect prepainted models and a skirmish game along the line of Dust Tactics at best. They'll probably do board games and card games or an RPG though.

That's what I reckon. On a related note, isn't there a Star Wars mod for BFG?

Grim-dark meets High Tech.
I have never been a big fan of SW in any of its incarnations. The first 3 weren't bad, but I've never felt that they have lived up to the hype. The PC games were ok, but again, nothing special.
Personally I prefer the 40k setting to SW. I seriously doubt I would ever buy any SW related game regardless of format.

I think I would be keen to play more PC games about SW... the Trade federation tanks might show up in my tau army... the model shop down the road has one I have had my eye on for some time...

Would you only buy the one or would you replace all your Devilfish and Hammerheads with them? Just 1 would look out of place.
