The T34/85 is a medium tank, so you can use that if you want to.jehan-reznor wrote:All the Russian tanks are heavy otherwise i will take them as sceneryjob wrote:@: J-R: Look forward to seeing your Russians, but just a reminder, Prim has asked people not to bring any heavy or Super-heavy tanks like JS-2s. Cheers.

Re: Day 1 - Bolt Action - Axis and Allies
But the Bolt action games are not tournaments right so if 2(+X) players want to try out their heavy tanks, is that a problem? (if it is not allowed, i think is still take them to make some pictures with other armies) .
Re: Day 1 - Bolt Action - Axis and Allies
If you want to use HT that is okay. You should just realize that nobody else has much yet prepared to face such stuff. so people might not be eager to face your Soviets.
And then again I'm think we shouldn't play with tanks either unless we allow everything in the book.

I'm not sure how many people have Heavy Tanks or even Heavy AT guns. Limiting it to Mediums, Lights and Armoured cars allows folks to use vehicles without their opponents needing to invest in 88's or other specialised weapons. (If you have an 88, by all means take it if you want to). Plus, at 750 a Heavy tank will probably eat up half your points.
I dunno, you can't please everyone all of the time I guess.

No, No, i am ok with it, but if there is someone else with heavy tanks, we could test them out, the biggest reason why i want to take them is to make pictures of them on a playing table with maybe another army on the table.
Re: Day 1 - Bolt Action - Axis and Allies
Ah, action scenes or scenarios! That would be cool. Maybe we should prepare a small "Saving Soldat Helmut" scenario?

Hi guys, if no one bites for my Ultramarine battle on the Friday is it possible to borrow a force and get a copy of the QuickStart rules online anywhere beforehand?
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

You can borrow a force, but I'm not aware of any quick start rules.ashmie wrote:Hi guys, if no one bites for my Ultramarine battle on the Friday is it possible to borrow a force and get a copy of the QuickStart rules online anywhere beforehand?
