Day 1 - 40K free play

Post by Primarch » Sun Mar 30, 2014 9:59 am

On the Friday I will be playing Bolt Action, but I know a lot of people don't play that, so I figured a thread to set up games of 40K would be helpful.

So, if you are coming on the Friday, please state below what points value you'd like to play and roughly what time slot (morning, early afternoon, late afternoon/evening) you're looking for a game and see if anyone bites.

OK it's a long shot but seeing as I was planning on coming on the Friday and bringing my Ultramarines (I don't play Bolt Action sadly) is anyone up for 40k? I'm a noob in terms of the new edition although I shall be going through the rules before the event. I am using the previous codex marines book as I can't afford the new one. I played mainly previous edition and 2nd back in the day. My army is a fairly well balanced codex list. 1500 to 2000 points is possible. Think Black Reach plus some extras. So if you like a game that is not too power fueled and want to give your army a warm up before the tournament on the Saturday (OK the big one shall we say) please get in touch. I have to go immigration int he morning so I will be there after lunch if not earlier at midday.
My ideal opponent is a non smoker and likes art and history. :) Oh hang on this isn't speed dating is it.

I don't have anything lined up for Friday yet, so could bring my Sisters for an afternoon game.

That sounds perfect Yellowstreak. How many points? Are you OK with me using the previous edition codex? Shall we say after lunch? :)

Sure the old codex is fine. I'm happy to play up to 2000 points.

I'd be up for some 40k on Friday. Need to get warmed up for the main event.
