To keep things simple throughout the day, we will be using one mission for the event. Each table may (or may not) get a slight variation on the mission (deployment, objectives etc).
The baseline for the mission is this:
1. In the centre of the table (24" from the long edge, 36" from the short edge), place 1 primary objective. This objective is worth 3 points to the team which holds it at the end of the game.
2. Defenders choose a deployment zone (12" in from either long table edge) and place any fortifications they may have.
3. Each team places 1 secondary objective in their OPPONENT's deployment zone. These objectives are worth 1 point to the team which holds it at the end of the game.
4. Players roll up any Warlord Traits, Psychic Powers or anything else that needs to be done pre-deployment.
5. Players/Teams roll off for first deployment. The winning player/team may choose to deploy first or second.
6. Players deploy their forces as normal.
7. The team which deployed first will take the first turn unless the other player/team can seize the initiative.
8. The game lasts for 6 turns.
9. Night Fighting, Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker and First Blood are all in effect. If an opposing team has 2 Warlords, they each award 1 point.
10. The team which scores the most points wins. Only Troops or units which specifically say they are scoring may capture objectives. (e.g. Sternguard with Pedro Kantor). Follow the rules in the core book if there is any confusion.
