Speaking personally, I will be unable to commit until I get my new school schedule (er, sometime in late march) but based off this (and previous years') schedules it is unlikely I will be able to make it. But, hey ho ya never know - we shall see what the future brings. Maybe the fates will favour me, who can say? :)
Seriously, your job sucks mate! Working both days of a weekend on top of a regular working week is criminal.

I will definitely be attending the Sunday and hopefully maybe the Saturday too, although I wouldn't mind a test run of the new format at Joshin sometime before then. Here's hoping i actually make it to Nagoya someday.
I just wanted to check about the demo games happening on the Sunday. Do I need to put something together for ECW Pike and Shotte? I mean I'd like to do it but only if there were interest. I only ask because I know loads of people have projects they want to run and introduce. Would it be better for me just to turn up and be a willing player to games that are set to run already?

Do you "need" to paint something? No, it's all voluntary. If you want to do it, feel free. So far, most people have been pretty quiet on the subject, so don't worry about treading on people's toes or having too many other games on the day. If you think you can get everything ready and make it along to the game, then paint away and bring along your royalists and parliamentarians.
If you build it, they will come and all that.

Awesome. I will make a start on them. At the very least I can show off the minis with a diorama setting :)

There are 4 demo games running already so I will continue as planned with the painting and prep for ECW. I can bring the models along for people to have a look at at least :D Maybe it is time to build that English country village diorama. What I may do is have an open play where people can play just a few moves in between other games. A bit like an ongoing game of chess.

You know a diorama might not be a bad idea. With all the games to be explained and played, a diorama would be one way to exhibit a game without tying you down to a booth and keep you from gaming. I'D enjoy it.
