There are so few units in the Soroitas book, I take most of the 'crappy' ones anyway... :lol:

Although that being said, the penitent engines did alright in my final game last Nagoyahammer! (alright means actually made contact with the enemy, rather than being exploded as they slowly trudge across the board).
And I can't tell you how embarrassed I was to have let that happen..... ooops..... Rematch! I won't even try to shoot those things! I'll just make sure there are 2 powerclaws in that scrum next time!

@Prim- I assume that you'll be matching winners with winners an losers with losers in the following games. Should balance out us idiots who are figuring out how to get an entire Grot army on the board with guys playing this season's spamdex.

As your Plot Character advances through the steps of the Plot, it doesn't need to remain WYSIWYG, though if someone were to model the different stages of their character, that would be awesome. :D
That would be cool! Seconded! :D

Just wanted to follow up on the need to translate the rules for the event into Japanese for the Japanese gamers :) Maybe if we divide up the work it would be a less daunting task for us who spend more time hobbying and less time studying Japanese :) :oops:

@kojibear

Sure! I will do. Should I translate this as soon as possible?
Let me know.

There is no hurry, take your time.
If we can give a Japanese copy of the rules to players who can't read English, I hope it will encourage them to play. I'd like to try to arrange some more games between the Beginners Club and NagoyaHammer players before Golden Week as well. Maybe in January or February we can organise something.

I reckon I will be there for the 40K day.

Do you need help with terrain? I assumed that you would so started working on a tables worth of it.

Between now and NagHam, come down to Yokkaichi for a game of something and, if you've got one spare, leave a gaming mat or cloth with me, and I'll paint up the terrain to match the colour.

How that sound geeza??

I'll just say it all sounds good to me. If there was anything I wanted from last year's Nagoyahammer, it was more story. This sounds like it will scratch that itch.

I can see the list already ...
