You're right. The army you use in Game 2 can be completely different from the army you used in Game 1. Same goes for Game 3. Time to buy a new army?job wrote:I just want to confirm one other point. When you write that the rule is "1 army/codex per game" and later in the next game it doesn't have to be the same army, it means a person could play DE one game and Eldar the next, am I correct? Or if play Chaos one game, I could bring demons or skitarii in another? Please tell me if this right or wrong. Just want to check I'm reading this correctly.
Cheers.

That's the irrisitable march of logic in my mind currently. I'm liking the Skitarii miniatures, there's a box set that fits the mission parameters and I'm a bit tired of always playing space marines of some flavor. But I may back track.

I just want to make sure that if you don't have an HQ but do have a character, you can designate a warlord and roll for a trait as usual.
Some of the missions don't use the 'slay the warlord' rule but I assume you can still make use of a warlord trait.

Yes. Your Warlord can be any of your Characters, doesn't need to be Independent or an HQ.Auxryn wrote:I just want to make sure that if you don't have an HQ but do have a character, you can designate a warlord and roll for a trait as usual.

Question: in all 3 scenarios, do units chosen from the Troops section get ObSec? I appreciate that RAW says they don't, but I also know that it's often assumed that they do.

They don't, as we aren't using any formations or a standard combined arms detachment. Unless a unit comes with ObSec due to it's own special rules, no-one will have it.me_in_japan wrote:Question: in all 3 scenarios, do units chosen from the Troops section get ObSec?
