How did I not even know this existed? Funnily enough, after seeing that Rick Priestly was doing Gates of Antares I wondered whatever happened to Andy Chambers. Looks like I found him.
I hope you climb on board. There's still 4 days on the kickstarter.

Get in on this thing!

(And I'm not just saying that because I want the kickstarter to hit the 500,000 pound mark and get a whole mess of free ships, no sir!)

I do rather feel the PHR calling. If I stick to ramen and Sukiya, I must just be able to do it...

48 hours to go! Get in on this thing! (MiJ, PM me if you want to talk about bolt-ons and such!)

New couple videos up about the Shaltari - as expected, they are all about the shenanigans. Some very powerful stuff, with very significant trade-offs, like one of their cruisers has a weapon that can pretty well take out an enemy cruiser in one shot, at the expense of having a very limited fire arc and lighting it up like a christmas tree for counter-fire from all across the board.

I'm (fortunately?) sort of indifferent to the PHR - their light and medium cruisers look cool, and their frigates are awesome, but their heavy cruisers just look kinda eh to me. Which is good - it means I may be able to stick to one fleet in this game for a change, heh.

So there's about 20 hours left, and as it stands, the minimum pledge of 45 quid will start you off pretty good - you'll get the rulebook and, for a fleet of your choice, a total of 4 cruisers and 8 frigates, plus a cruiser and 4 frigates for the other 3 factions to trade or sell or paint up as you see fit. Judging from how the DzC starter boxes work, 4 cruisers and 8 frigates will probably be a very solid small- to mid-size game and will probably hold you down for a good bit!

Well, might have to run it a little tight until payday but they had me at 'broadside'. Ton of extra wee ships won't hurt either :D PHR ahoy!

Nice! I'd be happy to pass along my extra PHR ships on the cheap too - I'd rather have more people in the area playing the game than a half-fleet for myself. :D

BTW guys, do you know how the bolt on thing works? Did I miss the boat on those or are we given the options later? I could never find instructions on them.
