And at 100GBP for a core set with 2 warlords and 6 knights, you'll need to save...YellowStreak wrote:Better start saving...the Titans look super-awesome...

That does seem a little steep, I guess it depends on the size of the minis. They are cool though. The Other Dave wrote:And at 100GBP for a core set with 2 warlords and 6 knights, you'll need to save...YellowStreak wrote:Better start saving...the Titans look super-awesome...
#edit# - The knights are the same size as a tactical marine and are on 32mm bases apparently.
In a seminar, the comment was made that the full starter box will be the most expensive starter box they've made so far. (I think the Heresy boxes retail for 95 GBP).
Also, news about the next Necromunda gang and Codex Harlequins. Plus Eldar terrain.

Re: Loads of new stuff from GW. AoS2, Sisters in Plastic & m
I'd heard 40mm bases for the knights, but the detail level looks about right for 32mm - hard to say! The warlords are on oval bases, which suggests the knight bases, but just eyeballing their size in the case with people looking at them makes me think Redemptor-sized. Plus the terrain is all plastic sprues and such, which will bring the price up.
(A small voice in the back of my head is asking about all the Epic stuff I already have, but that voice gets smaller the more pictures I see of those warlords.)

Uhhhh... House Cowdor. I'm excited to add more cultists to my host so this would be something I'd be happy about.

There's a photo out there of an AT Knight Paladin next to a new human Blood Bowl player - the Knight's base is bigger, so definitely 40mm.
I think the Warlord is on the same size oval as the 40k Imperial Knight.
Talking of Blood Bowl, one for me_in_Japan:

As far as I'm concerned, Epic =/= Adeptus Titanicus 2018. Epic is for when I want a load of little infantry running about. AT18 is for giant robots smacking the **** out of each other. The Other Dave wrote:I'd heard 40mm bases for the knights, but the detail level looks about right for 32mm - hard to say! Also, with any luck the change in scale will make the scenery compatible with DZC.

Yeah, this is how I'm approaching it - infantry, if it comes at all for AT2018, is still a long ways off, so there's no need to retire my collection just yet.AndrewGPaul wrote:As far as I'm concerned, Epic =/= Adeptus Titanicus 2018.The Other Dave wrote:I'd heard 40mm bases for the knights, but the detail level looks about right for 32mm - hard to say! More news gleaned from Twitter: Apparently the Warlords will just have the one weapon loadout in the plastic kit (the classic Missile Launcher / Volcano Cannon "Nemesis" pattern), and others will be available in resin a la Necromunda. Which, seeing as how the sprues are packed full as it is, is disappointing but understandable. OTOH, the sculpts will have integral holes for 5x1mm magnets so it's not really a big problem. (Reavers will apparently have several loadouts in the kit, and it looks like Knights have at least the 3 different cannon options. It's really insane how detailed the kits are, really.)
