Luckily for Terminators there's actually a datasheet for 30k terminators in 40k - which with Termies as good as they are right now might be a good option to have a full serving of both kinds! That covers you for the Reaper etc, so should be fine unless there's exotic Forge World bits the sheet doesn't cover.

Straight marines would be tricker but based on what you're saying I think the Vanguard and Sternguard Veterans datasheets might cover the Veteran Squads you mentioned, again barring any more exotic weapons (eg Volkite crops up in 40k but more rarely, you may not be able to take it on codex squads even if it's fine on a Forge World vehicle from Imperial Armour).

Other than that you could probably double purpose a lot of figures by organising them into different squads in the two games (eg maybe break up a big heavy weapons squad into a Devastator squad and the heavy weapon marines of a few different tactical squads).

That kind of reuse might not be optimal but it should *work*. Particularly if Drop Pods are OK in Heresy too.

(This is all more for my own musing and anyone else thinking about double duty models; I assume Prim will be happy with strict HH for the foreseeable and we can try to tempt him into 10th edition later  )

Word Bearers are up next for a preview.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... d-bearers/
It looks like they are all fans of Marvel as they have the special rule: True Believers. As fanatics of the dark gods, the Word Bearers are hard to break. This rule allows them to always test against Ld 6 (or better), no matter how many penalties they may have. In addition, if they ever wind up in a tied assault, they automatically win it by one point.
The other part of their preview is their Hellfire psychic power, a Str 7, Ap4 flamer with Rending and any wounds caused may generate extra hits.

Only a few more Legions to go now...

The 18th Legion Salamanders are up on WarCom.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... warhammer/
Their 'Blood of Fire' special rule gives all to wound rolls against Salamanders a -1 if the weapon is a flame, plasma, melta or volkite weapon. So a S8 melta will only wound on 3+. In addition, all multi-wound models and all vehicles gain It Will Not Die (6+) allowing them to potentially regenerate lost wounds/hull points.

As you'd expect from the Salamanders, their flamers are a bit better than the standard issue version. Dragon's Breath flamers have a better Strength and/or AP value and inflict more hits when used for overwatch.

Only 2 Legions left to go.

Time for the beakiest of beakie marines, the Raven Guard.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... new-black/
Unlike other legions which have a rule for the army, the sons of Corax have rules based on unit types. Raven Guard line infantry get the special rule 'Talons.' This gives them a 6+ cover save against any attack from further than 8" away. In addition, they can all Infiltrate.
The legion's advanced reaction 'Fade to Black,' was also previewed. Once per game, during the opponent's shooting phase, one unit can move up to its initiative value in inches and then gains a 4+ cover save until the end of the turn.

And I think that's everything. I don't believe there are any more legions to cover... :?

Huh, there's one more legion. I could have sworn I had posted them all...
https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... -are-they/
As befits the Alpha Legion, their special rule is all about misdirection. 'Lies and Obfuscation' adds 2" to any range measurement for shooting at or charging any Alpha Legion models. This can cause charges to fail or guns to be out of range.
As for their unique Rite of War, 'The Rewards of Treachery' allows an Alpha Legion army to take a unique unit from any other Legion's list.

And that's definitely all of the legions previewed. Pre-orders are coming this weekend I think.

Oooh, plastic Leviathan.

I'd add a picture, but it... looks exactly like the resin one, so.

(Me being me, all the HH hype has just got me thinking of collecting a couple true-to-AT-scale Epic 30K armies, but it sure does all look pretty cool.)

Luckily the Leviathan isn't in the first wave of releases. My wallet is struggling enough as it is.   ... :?

It's this week, no delay in Japan it seems, currently up for preorder on the GW site.

Little bit of sticker shock though. Wouldn't suggest ordering from GW when there's discounts and points out there.
