Thanks Again, clear red is the culprit. I find that for any really deep, almost glowy colour, painting it as normal then glazing the crap out of it with an appropriately coloured clear coat is really effective. All the red on my corsair vehicles is done that way, over a grey base colour (black -> white, then clear red over the top.) It really pings. I believe that's how they do cars, out in the real world.

also finished a Mantic Ghoul, intended to be used as a Frostgrave zombie, but I found out today you can only have one zombie per warband, so he's going to be consigned to the outer darkness until I need him at some indeterminate point in the future...

Not sure exactly how long these took. The first one took a while because of the nmm, the second took a while due to me, my kids, and pretty much everybody getting sick, and also work and stuff getting in the way. Anyway, done now.
