Space Wolves - old ones!
I've been on a bit of a 2nd edition 40k kick recently. Started off with the Blood Anels marines from the 2nd edition box set, then some more reinforcements, and now I'm back to my first love - Space Wolves! (MeInJapan - remember these? )
Firstly, the Blood Angels:
The two Tactical squads from the 2nd edition box
Terminator Squad, from the 2nd edition Space Hulk box
Plastic Scouts from Advanced Space Crusade, and a red-spiked cactus.
The officers, a Captain and Chaplain
and finally the Dreadnought.

And the Space Wolves:
The Grey Hunters
Wolf Guard in power armour
and in Terminator armour
and Bjorn the Fell-Handed.
Oh, and something for them to fly around in:

Love the classic marines, particularly the Wolves (though it's always welcome to see the original Dante).
The Terminators don't even count as old other than the tiny bases

Dayum! Are those banners free handed or printed on?

Printed. The original self-adhesive banners. Apart from the Wolf Fuard standard and the Chaplain - they’re scanned from the Codex and printed out.

I get all twinkly star-eyed every time I see that thunderhawk
And yes, I do remember your wolves! May they eat as much shuriken these days as they did in those days
Those are great pics of great minis, though. Nostalgia in the main line, chief

Some real classics there. Awesome work on all of those old minis. The old school banners are a great finishing touch.

Some reinforcements. I've finally finished the Space Wolves army, bar a couple of Wolf Scout sergeants that won't ever have Scout squads to lead.
I've not used so much yellow on anything that wasn't an Imperial Fists army before!

They look amazing! Well done. Everything from the bright green bases to the tops of the banners looks like it jumped straight from the pages of an old White Dwarf.

Amazing work and such a shot of nostalgia! Those are the Wolves I remember from high school, looking better than ever.
